While field tests of Chelatec MDC recovery units have only been initiated for gold, copper, & gallium ores, we know of no technical reason at this time why similar results – leading to faster, cheaper, and more recovery of target metals – cannot be achieved for other metals.  No estimates are made for environmental remediation of lead, mercury, arsenic – or other metals – as this is not the company’s business.

Starting with an estimate that 40% of primary metal production costs are incurred in the recovery process & our best current estimate that we can reduce this cost by 40%, resulting in a 16% reduction in cost of primary production.  Using sales prices as a substitute number and taking a 10% cost reduction as our plug number, we estimate market sizes or the value of MDC in global mining as follows for various metals:
